Order a print

Choose a print, say how you would like it, and send the request. We reply personally to agree it. Nothing is charged until you have.

Where should we post it

The first 20 prints are £35, our founder price. Postage is added at the end, by where it is going, and agreed with you before anything is charged.

Yours, drawn

We can do most things. Your first car, that favourite building, the street you grew up on, the house you have just bought, the route you ran, the place you were married. Tell us what matters and where, and we will tell you whether it can be drawn and what it will cost.

Have the route as a file instead? Download it and attach it by replying to our email. How to send your route.

How ordering works

  1. Choose or describe. Pick one of the prints above, or tell us what you would like drawn. Both are forms on this page.
  2. We reply personally. Jim writes back to confirm the price, the postage and when it could be ready.
  3. You agree it. Nothing is charged until you have agreed both.
  4. We draw it and send it. It is drawn for you, then posted to you.

Questions

How is a print made?

It is drawn in pen on real paper, one line at a time. It is a physical drawing, not a reproduction of one, so no two are quite identical.

What size and paper?

A3, 297 by 420 mm. Black ink on white paper, or white ink on blueprint blue, whichever suits the subject and your wall.

Can I order one?

Yes. Use the order form on this page: choose a print, how you would like it, and send the request. We reply personally with the price, the postage and when it could be ready. Nothing is charged until you have agreed. There is no online shop yet, so the last step is a conversation.

How much is one?

The first 20 prints are £35 each, our founder price. A frame is £40 more. Postage is added at the end, by where it is going. We confirm all of it with you before anything is charged.

What does the founder price ask of me?

Two things in return: a photo of your print once it is up, and a few words about it that we may quote. We use your first name only, and we show you what we would post before we post it. You can say no to any of it later and we will take it down.

Can you draw something of mine?

Most things, yes: your first car, that favourite building, the street you grew up on, your town, a place that matters, a route you ran. Use “Yours, drawn” and tell us what you have in mind. Some places and subjects cannot be drawn, because of the data we are allowed to use or because a name is someone else’s trade mark. We will say so plainly rather than promise.

How long does one take?

Drawing takes from about half an hour to a few hours, depending on how much detail there is. We do not promise a delivery date here. We will give you one when we reply.

How do I send you my route?

For a run, ride or walk we draw your route over a map of the streets, streets in black and the route in red, blue or dark green. We need the route itself, and there are two ways to send it.

Illustration of a phone showing an activity, with Share at the bottom and Copy link in the list that opens.
A link (quickest). Open the activity in Strava, tap Share, choose Copy link, and paste it into the Strava link box on the order form. The activity has to be visible to anyone with the link, or we cannot open it.
Illustration of a computer browser showing an activity, with the three dots menu open and Export GPX highlighted.
The file (most reliable). On strava.com, not the phone app, open the activity, click the three dots, choose Export GPX, and the file downloads. When we reply to your order, reply to that email with the file attached.

Strava changes its screens now and then, so the drawings above show where to look rather than copying them. If a link will not open for us we will ask for the file. Your route is used only to draw your print.

Can I give one as a gift?

Yes. Tell us it is a gift and when you need it by, and we will say honestly whether we can.

Where does the map data come from?

OpenStreetMap, which volunteers around the world keep up to date. Map data © OpenStreetMap contributors, openstreetmap.org/copyright.

What happens to my details?

Your name, the email address or WhatsApp number you give and, for an order, your postal address are used to reply to you and to post your print, and for nothing else. Messages typed into the chat are answered by our automated helper, an AI, and kept for up to 30 days. Nothing is sent anywhere until you use the chat or send a request.

Who makes them?

Jim, in Belfast.
